Lonesome Locomotive began in San Francisco in 2010 when Cassidy and Rosen began bringing great local jam musicians together to create an original project. Bassist Mike Meagher joined them in Cassidy's basement and the first gigs were done as a trio. In the course of playing tons shows in the last year, they found guitarist/vocalist/co-writer Brian Byrnes and the band was born. Soon, the ultra-talented bay area guitar force Kit Ruscoe joined the group and gifted Suzuki-style cellist Steven Sparapani began contributing. The band plans to release their first, self-titled EP soon.
